Shampoo

For the Kerry Blue we recommend 2 baths. The first is using the Ultra Brightening Shampoo to leave the coat clean and add some density of color. The second bath should be with the Ultra Volumizing Shampoo to add volume and texture to the coat. Both of these shampoos should be diluted 1 part shampoo to 8 parts water. Distribute the shampoos evenly and bath the dog. After bathing rinse the coat – assure that all shampoo residue has been removed from the coat.

Conditioner

On the beard furnishings you can use the Ultra Silk Conditioner straight . Apply a very small amount to the palm of you hand and distribute evenly through out the beard. Be careful not to over do the conditioner or you will leave the furnishings oily and separated. (see video for demonstration)

Texturizer

You can texturize the coat two ways:

1.- On coats that are damp or wet, spray the Volumizing Spray Gel into the coat. Distribute the product evenly through out the coat. It is very important to dry the coat while the Volumizing Spray Gel is damp otherwise the gel will get too hard. If the coat does dry in certain areas befote you have a chance to dry the coat, use a mat brush to seperate the hair shats.

2.- After bathing and rinsing dilute the Ultra Volumizing Spray Gel 1 part Spray Gel to 10 parts water and pour the mixture over the coat. Apply evenly through out the coat. Towel dry the coat and begin drying.

Dry

Remove excess water with a towel. Then use a force drier to remove the excess water from the coat. The final drying should be done with warm ari and the coat should be stretched out while drying for maximum length and volume. You can set the tubes with Maxim or Intense depending on the desired hold you are looking for.
